Position Summary:
As a Loan Quality Specialist I, you will be responsible for performing a comprehensive review of Agricultural and Commercial loans within a specified timeframe after origination. You will coordinate activities between administrative assistants and lenders to ensure the timely routing of loan information, consistent documentation tracking, and accurate monitoring of loan policy and guideline exceptions. You will also help ensure loans are consistently coded and comply with all federal and state laws and regulations while maintaining accurate and organized loan files. Using independent judgment and discretion, you will identify issues, generate reports for management, and provide recommendations for process and procedural enhancements. You will also assist in preparing accurate loan documents for the Commercial, Agricultural, and Retail departments through our established system, ensuring completeness and compliance with current banking regulations and policies. This role includes assisting with AccuAccount administration.

What will you do:
Accountabilities
Business Loan Review and Reporting
Review loan files and documentation for accuracy and acceptance based on established Loan policy. Analyze and interpret guidelines and apply understanding to reviewing documents and credit information.
Loan Documentation
Create loan documentation and reviewing that insurance documentation is accurate and in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Partner with others to ensure team goals are met.
Qualifications
Secondary education in business or related field preferred. One or more years of relevant work experience or a combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position. Experience in banking preferred.
