Position Summary:
As an Employee Experience Generalist, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional teammate experience by leading, supporting, and helping to design the Bank’s benefit programs, profit sharing, payroll operations, and HRIS functions. You will contribute to continuous process improvement and program design that enhances efficiency, compliance, and teammate engagement across the Employee Experience (EE) department.
This position ensures the seamless administration of core teammate programs while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to optimize workflows, leverage system capabilities, and identify opportunities to elevate the teammate experience through data and innovation.

What will you do:
Key Responsibilities
Benefits Administration & Program Design
- Administer all teammate benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability, EAP, HSA, and FSA.
- Lead and support the design, evaluation, and implementation of benefit enhancements that align with teammate needs and the Bank’s strategic goals.
- Lead annual open enrollment, life event changes, and new teammate benefit onboarding.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for teammate benefit inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and exceptional service.
- Manage compliance with ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and other benefit-related regulations.
- Process and administer leave of absence, FMLA, disability, and ADA accommodations.
- Process monthly benefit billings, reconcile insurance payments, and partner with vendors for accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate benefit data within HRIS and prepare reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Profit Sharing & Retirement Plan Administration
- Administer profit sharing and 401(k) plans, ensuring accurate teammate participation and contribution processing.
- Partner with third-party administrators and auditors to ensure plan compliance and timely reporting.
- Support teammates with plan education, enrollment, and account questions.
Payroll Support & Compliance
- Support payroll processing, audits, and reconciliation in partnership with the Bank’s managed payroll provider.
- Collaborate with internal teams and the managed payroll provider (e.g., Mosaic) to design, improve, and troubleshoot payroll processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Administer tuition/training reimbursement policies.
HRIS Management
- Serve as a primary contact for HRIS technical support, troubleshooting, and system updates.
- Partner closely with the Bank’s HRIS consultant to ensure optimal system configuration, data accuracy, and alignment with evolving business needs.
- Prepare and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and data analyses to inform leadership decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Departmental Support
In addition to core responsibilities, this role will:
- Provide flexible support across various EE functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, compliance, and teammate engagement.
- Collaborate with team members across the EE department to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and consistent teammate support.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and teammate experience.
- Serve as a resource for teammates and leaders across departments, offering guidance and support on EE-related matters as needed.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training, communications, and change management efforts that span multiple EE disciplines.
Qualifications
Secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Two or more years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, or a combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position.
