Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Partner leads the recruiting function for the Bank, providing consistent partnership with leaders while ensuring day-to-day hiring execution. This role is responsible for managing the full recruiting process, advising leaders on hiring approach and market conditions, and ensuring a positive, consistent candidate experience aligned with the Bank’s culture.

This role balances recruitment ownership and execution, with responsibility for recruiting standards, practices, and outcomes. The Talent Acquisition Partner monitors recruiting activity and trends, supports continuous improvement, and ensures recruiting processes align with internal standards and applicable regulations.

This role is expected to participate in cross-functional department training and development, contribute to bank wide projects, and champion change management initiatives. Additionally, review and revise procedures regularly, and proactively stay abreast of industry best practices; continuously monitoring and ensuring the Bank’s compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and regulations, and provide recommendations accordingly.

What will you do:

Accountabilities

Recruiting Partnership & Support

Provide consistent recruiting partnership with hiring managers by advising them on hiring approach, candidate evaluation, and market conditions, while ensuring aligned expectations and a positive candidate and hiring manager experience.

  • Lead recruitment intake with hiring managers to define role requirements and success criteria, align on interview and selection approach, and support sound hiring decisions through guidance, debrief facilitation, and risk awareness.
  • Own the recruiting narrative: consistent messaging on culture, expectations, growth, and “why this role/why us” across departments and candidate audiences.
  • Support evaluation of candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and advice on potential contribution.
  • Candidate coordination: scheduling, communication, interview logistics, and status updates to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain timely, proactive communication with candidates and leaders to ensure a consistent, positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Provide candidates with comprehensive information about benefits, culture, values, and expectations.
  • Develop offers for new teammates and promotions, following the Bank’s defined compensation philosophy.
  • Onboarding support: ensuring coordination of pre-hire steps; ensure smooth transition from offer to day-one.
  • New Teammate Orientation; ensuring required content, materials, and stakeholder participation are aligned and consistently executed.

Talent Acquisition Execution

Own and execute the recruitment process while maintaining consistent recruiting operations, standards, and continuity. Ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality hiring outcomes aligned with business needs and the Bank’s culture.

  • Implement sourcing strategies and talent pipeline programs to attract qualified candidates and support current and future hiring needs.
  • Assist in preparing and presenting reports to leadership on recruiting activity and outcomes.
  • Govern recruiting standards, quality, and compliance (EEO, fair hiring practices).
  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives that support the Bank’s talent pipeline.
  • Ensure applicant tracking systems (ATS) are maintained accurately updated.
  • Co-lead the Bank’s internship and collegiate program(s) in partnership with the Employee Development team and business lines, including identifying meaningful project opportunities, serving as a liaison with external partners, mentoring interns, and evaluating overall program effectiveness.
  • Serve as a point of contact for College Career Services and local workforce centers.
  • Identify and arrange attendance at various job fairs and career events.
  • Lead or co-lead the Academy of Finance (AOF) Program, an extension of the Bank’s Internship Program.

Qualifications

Secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Three or more years of relevant work experience in Human Resources, or a combination of education/experience that would enable incumbent to meet accountabilities and required competencies of the position.

  • Strong problem-solving and judgment skills, with the ability to assess hiring needs, evaluate candidates, and navigate competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws, EEO requirements, and fair hiring practices, with the ability to apply them consistently throughout the recruitment process.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage hiring managers, candidates, and internal partners clearly and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, consult, and build trust with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs, hiring volume, and team coverage requirements while maintaining consistency and quality.
